On Wednesday, Ken Jennings It got pretty spicy, at least for “Danger!” standards – when published a post on Bluesky who very clearly expressed his feelings about the President donald trumpThe “regime” of

The game show host’s candid opinion came amid a wave of posts in which he shared several posts condemning the Department of Homeland Security after a Immigration and Customs Enforcement Agent Shot Dead and killed 37-year-old Minneapolis mother Renee Good that same day. DHS has characterized Good as one of several “violent rioters” who were blocking ICE officers during a targeted operation, and that she “turned her vehicle into a weapon” in an attempt to run over an officer. Videos of the incident, however, indicate that Good was trying to back up his car and flee the scene when an officer shot him multiple times.
“The ‘prosecute the old regime at every level’ candidate has my vote in 2028,” Jennings wrote.

Earlier in the day, Jennings also posted: “America always says ‘okay, but the NEXT regime change will work,’ like when I ‘cut out carbs’ briefly every January.”

Jennings also shared several other posts that implied the ICE shooting was his turning point.
Nestled between both Jennings’ hot takes on his Bluesky account is a publication by writer Kashana Cauley which says: “They spent all that time complaining about crime in the cities so they could implement their solution of killing people in the cities.”
Other posts Jennings shared on Wednesday included one published by Bloomberg’s Daniel Nichanian, which included a quote about Good from his mother. Another post includes a screenshot of a Minnesota Star Tribune article about local child care centers reporting ICE agents showing up at their facilities.

And while Jennings made his anti-Trump stance evident, he also made transparent his distaste for pessimistic views about America’s future.
On Wednesday, Jennings too shared a Bluesky user’s response to his post about who you plan to vote for in 2028.
The user’s response was: “If there are elections in 2028.”
Jennings reacted to this type of take as “tactically incorrect.”
“‘There is no point in discussing political opposition to fascism, there will be no elections anyway’, cede victory to your enemies. It is defeatism and nihilism,” he said.
He added: “It’s totally understandable if you’re condemning any facet of the American experiment right now. So your feelings are ‘valid’ in the sense that they represent real anxiety, and I get that. But venting that anxiety in other people’s spaces is wrong…”
That Jennings makes his left-wing ideology very clear online may surprise some, but the former “Jeopardy!” The champion has a history of sharing his liberal stances on social media.
he has expressed his support for progressive legislators such as Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.). He He also mocked a “horrible MAGA grandmother” in X, when it was Twitter, in 2018.
After former host Alex Trebek died in November 2020, and Jennings’ name began circulating as a candidate for the next host, Jennings tried to apologize for some of his “unwitty and insensitive” tweets he posted over the years.
From officially landing the hosting job in 2022Jennings has been much quieter about politics on social media, but, considering he shared another anti-Trump post on Bluesky On Thursday, this could simply mean that he no longer gives a damn about being bipartisan.
