Former vice president Mike Pence recently wrote a letter to a woman convicted of her role in the mortal January 6, 2021, Riot, praising her decision to reject a presidential forgiveness of Donald Trump.
Pamela Hephill, a self -described “ex -grandmother of Maga”, went to social networks on Tuesday to reveal that the old Veep declared that his “honorable decision says a lot” about his “commitment to the rule of law.”
“I am sure that his willingness to accept responsibility has inspired many Americans for their example of integrity and faith,” I read the letter dated only one day after Hempill explained why he rejected forgiveness in CNN.
Earlier this month, Hempill, who spent two months in a federal prison and remains on probation for a minor crime of demonstrating or pickets in a Capitol building, told Pamela Brown de CNN that he did not want to be part of Trump’s “narrative”, saying that accepting an pardon would be a “slap” on the face of the police officers Capitolos and the rule of law.

“The cost of continuing to lie or be dishonest with yourself, is not worth it. It is not worth it, nothing they want to do, it’s fine. I’m not worried about anything,” he explained at that time.
Hempill reacted on Tuesday to Pence’s message on X, previously Twitter.

Among those who obtained forgiveness were hundreds of uprooters convicted of assaulting the officers, around 1,000 non -violent criminals and around 200 people accused of assaulting the police. Several of the forgives have been reorganized since then.
