The star of “Cobra Kai”, Alicia Hannah-Kim, is talking about being bitten by co-star Martin Kove at a fans convention earlier this month.

The actor, who played the artist Marcial Kim Da-Eun in the Spin-off “The Karate Kid”, went to the strange episode in an Instagram video on Sunday, where he described the unacceptable Kove’s actions.

“This was a serious incident,” he said. “Nobody wants to be attacked at work or anywhere really. And I don’t think anyone thinks that this is normal, justified or acceptable.”

“I think when you face something like this, it’s good to defend yourself,” Hannah-Kim continued. “It’s an important choice to do. I think it’s the good option to take.”

The Australian actor added that the incident did not reflect his broader experience working on the program.

“I also want to express that this does not represent my experience with the program in general,” said Hannah-Kim. “I think everyone can say that it is a very good vibes and a great cast. And everyone else is lovely. I don’t want this to affect their love for the show. Be free to love him as hard as you want.”

Kove, who played the villain John Kreeese in “Cobra Kai” and in the first two films of “Karate Kid”, was torn from Summer with Puyallup, Washington, on June 23 after allegedly biting Hannah-Kim during a VIP and Green match.

According to a police report presented by Hannah-Kim and obtained by Variety, he had hit Kove on his shoulder to greet when he grabbed his arm and bit him “so hard that he almost took blood.”

The next day, Kove issued an apology in which he said he was “being playful at the time but went too far.”
