1. Check if your Internet speed can handle transmission
Transmission services such as Netflix and YouTube TV recommend at least a 25 Mbps download speed for soft HD transmission. If more than one person in your home is looking at the same time, you may need even faster speeds. To determine if your internet is quick enough for transmission, the easiest way is to execute a speed test on the Internet using popular and popular online tools such as:
- Fast.com: Start trying your download speed immediately without clicking anything. It also shows speed and load latency if you click “Show more information.”
- Speedtest.net: Click “Go” to start the test, which measures the download/loading speeds and latency. You can execute multiple tests to see fluctuations and compare your results with global averages.
- You can also simply search “Speed test” on Google or Bing and use your incorporated tests promoted by the OOKLA measure laboratory.

2. Change to a plan alone on the Internet to cut the cable
Call your current supplier (as Verizon) and ask about your options just online. Many companies offer non -publicized plans for existing customers. You can even find a better offer by changing to another supplier.
Are you looking to save even more every month? It can also reduce costs by changing to a lower cost mobile plan. See the most affordable wireless telephone plans here in Cyberguy.com/bestphoneplans
3. Buy a transmission device for easy access to TV
Even if you do not have an intelligent television, it can still be easily broadcast. Devices such as Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, Google Chromecast and others connect to your TV and cost less than $ 50. They are easy to configure and give access to all the main transmission platforms.

4. Choose the correct transmission services and save
Instead of subscribing to everything, choose the services you will really use. Popular options include:
- YouTube TV or Hulu + TV live (closer to the cable, but starts around $ 82/month)
- Sling TV (Live TV more affordable that starts around $ 45/month)
- Netflix, Hulu, Peacock or Paramount+ for programs and films on request

There are tons of free transmission services that offer live news, television programs and movies. It is worth taking a look at Pluto TV, Tubi and The Roku Channel if you want entertainment without spending another ten cents.

7. Compare Internet suppliers for better offers transmission
Even if you are already paying online, it is worth seeing if there is a better offer available. Internet suppliers often change their prices or offer new promotions, so it is intelligent to buy regularly and compare what exists.

8. Ask about promotions and discounts before canceling the cable
When you call your supplier, always ask if they offer promotions, loyalty discounts or economic plans. Even if you do not qualify for a formal discount, customer service could delete a few dollars from your bill, especially if you are considering canceling.
