Trump says that Diddy’s potential forgive is
President Donald Trump said Friday that it can be “difficult” forgive Sean “Diddy” Combs, but not because he thinks that the modern music tycoon did something criminal.
In an interview with Rob Finaner of Newsmax, Trump said he was previously “very friendly” with the combs, but his relationship took a turn after Trump’s presidential race in 2016.
“When I postulated for a position, he was very hostile,” Trump said about combs, who was convicted of two out of five positions in his trial of sex trafficking earlier this year. “And it’s hard, you know? I’m like you, we are human beings. And we don’t like things to cloud our judgment, right? But when you knew someone and you were well, and then you ran for a position, and made some terrible statements.”
“So I don’t know, it’s more difficult,” Trump continued. “I am honest, it makes it more difficult to do.”

Trump also described the combs as “essentially a bit innocent,” an apparent reference to the divided verdict.
Finaner pressed Trump to say if a forgiveness for the combs was probably a “no.”
“I would say” Trump replied.
Deadline reported at the beginning of this week that Trump had “considered seriously” issuing a forgiveness before his sentence, which is scheduled by the end of this year. Rolling Stone also reported that the Internal Circle of ComBs was actively pressing to the White House.
The combs lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, tried to reduce some of those rumors during an interview with Variety published on Friday.
“There are times when I think there is nothing, and there are times when I think they are only things of rumors,” he said. “But I don’t intend to know the president’s mind. I really don’t know.”
Combs faces up to 20 years in prison.

Trump has a history of forgiveness to its loyal ones, including more than 1,500 fuss of January 6. An ABC analysis in May found that about 20% of the pardons they had issued not related to January 6 was for people who had donated their campaigns or had another political connection with the president.
