Meryl Streep accidentally recreates Met Gala Meme while filming
It seems that Meryl Streep accidentally stumbled to recreate a meme inspired by Gala Met while filming the sequel to “Devil Wears Prada” in New York on Friday.
During a scene, the Oscar winner was photographed falling on the steps of the New York Natural History Museum in what seemed to be a real life substitute for the highly exclusive annual benefit of Vogue.
In the snapshots, a Stanley Tucci reviewed a Stanley Tucci.
The spill seemed to be without a script, since similar shots were not captured in earlier trial photos in the day.
While the Streep slide seemed to be an accident on the set, the moment has a surprising resemblance with a long -standing internet joke that appears in each Met season.
Every May, social networks resurrect a viral photo of a man with a white suit that falls down a red carpet ladder, falsely stating that shows Jason Derulo taking a spill in the 2015 gala.

Despite the perennial popularity of the meme and endless jokes about the alleged clumsy of Derulo, the photo is not his at all. In fact, Derulo was not even at the Met gala that year (or any year, for the case).
When the BIT was born in 2015, the Internet detectives in News tracked the true origin of the image: a false step during the Cannes Film Festival in 2011.
And the mysterious man blank? Still unknown.

Anne Hathaway will repeat her original role, now interpreting a more elegant, greater and wiser version of journalist Andy Sachs.
