Pete Buttigieg summarizes how Trump worsens our lives in a refreshingly simple way
The former Secretary of Transportation is receiving online praise to urge liberals to use everyday language to communicate, especially when it comes to articulating the ways in which the president Donald Trump stinks.
“We have to look what we are doing, which makes it difficult to listen to what we have to say,” buttigieg He told NPR last week. “Too often, we speak in academic terms, and when we are talking about deeply important things such as freedom and democracy, we still have to have a way of talking about it that relates to how everyday life is different.”
Buttigieg demonstrated how effectively the simple language can point out how the lives of the Americans are “different and worse” now that we have “an autocrat in power” who is “designating incompetent people about very important things in our lives.”

Then he pointed to four of Trump’s cabinet members.
