Prince Harry, Meghan Markle shares the next steps with Netflix
Los Angeles (AP)-Prince Harry and Meghan have extended their association with Netflix and their media company, Archewell Productions, with a multi-year first year agreement, the couple announced on Monday.
Archewell began collaborating with the transmission giant in 2020 and has produced a handful of documentary content, including the popular “Harry & Meghan”. The Duchess of Sussex also developed a lifestyle brand, as always, in association with Netflix.
The collaboration has also produced “Polo” of the documentary series, “Heart of Invictus” and “Live To Lead”.
“My husband and I feel inspired by our partners who work in close collaboration with us and our product team Archewell to create reflexive content in all genres that resonate worldwide and celebrate our shared vision,” Meghan said in a statement.
The couple and Netflix also announced the next collaborations, including a second season of “With Love, Meghan”, a life and kitchen program starring the duchess. The program will also receive a special holiday episode in December.
The program is the most watched culinary show of Netflix since its March launch, according to the company. It was classified under comparison with other releases in the first half of this year, with 5.3 million visits, according to the Semiannual Report of Netflix.
“Masaka Kids, an inner rhythm”, a documentary short film that focuses on a small orphanage in the Masaka region of Uganda, will also be released this year.

Archewell is also in production with Netflix in an adaptation of functions of Carley Fortune “Meet Me At The Lake.” The drama “follows a love story that covers a decade that begins with a casual encounter and a broken promise”, reads in the statement.
“Harry and Meghan are influential voices whose stories resonate with the public everywhere. The answer to their work speaks for itself,” said Bela Bajaria, Netflix content director, in a statement.

His extended agreement with Netflix is the last in the couple’s effort to develop commercial companies in the United States. They had also organized a several years with Spotify in 2020 and produced a podcast, “Archetypes”, but cut ties with the company in 2023.
The couple has been disliked their lives from the British royal family and lives in California with their two young children.
