The Tennis Star Emma Raducanu asks Umpir to eliminate the crying of the stadium child during the Cincinnati open match

The tennis star, Emma Raducanu, was not happy with a certain spectator at Cincinnati Open on Monday, and wanted the chair referee to do something about it.

The spectator in question? A child who cries.

The British star was following 4-3 in the third set against Aryna Sabalenka of the best planted while the child continued to cry for the seats.

Raducanu was clearly disturbed by noise, and paused to ask the referee to address him. The referee’s response was not audible, but Raducanu could be heard clearly.

“They have been like 10 minutes,” he said.

“He is a child,” replied the referee of the chair. “Do you want me to send the child out of the stadium?”

Raducanu made a gesture to the stands, where a large number of plaster was heard.

“I can call,” said the president’s referee after listening to the crowd. “But we have to continue at the moment.”

While Raducanu won the next point, Sabalenka won the game after winning the tiebreaker of the third set, 7-5.

After the game, Raducanu said he was “proud” to push Sabalenka to the point of a tie -breaker to determine who won the third round game.

“She is the world No. 1 for a reason,” he said, through TNT Sports. “I pushed her more than in Wimbledon, so that is an improvement. In addition, it was good to have this result on a hard court because it is very different from the grass, and I have always thought that the grass is much more left, and I still believe it.

“Then, to have pushed her to a hard court like that, I am quite proud.”

Raducanu is currently 39th in the WTA ranking before US Open 2025 in Queens, New York, which begins on August 18.
