The former Miss Universe contestant dies after a horrible incident with an alce

Kseniya Alexandrova, who represented Russia in the Miss Universe 2017 contest, died last week after a car accident that involved an Alce. She was 30 years old.

The husband of the late model recalled the heartbreaking incident of the Russian media RIA Novosti.

On July 5, the couple was driving along the extensive M9 road in Russia from the city of Rzhev in the Oblast region of Tver when their car hit the animal, according to a translation of News. Alexandrova’s husband was behind the wheel, while Alexandrova sat in the passenger seat. Her husband said she was slowly driving because the path in which they were traveling was being repaired, and it was a “high road” without barrier to animals.

When his car hit the alce, the air bags were not deployed, and the animal crashed through the windshield and hit Alexandrova.

“An Alce jumped from somewhere, jumped in front of the car,” he said. “From the moment he jumped to the impact, he spent a fraction of a second. I had no time to do anything. The Alce flew to the car. [Alexandrova] They hit my head. He was unconscious, his head was broken, everything was covered with blood. ”He added that after the animal crashed with Alexandrova, he could see part of his brain.

Alexandrova suffered serious injuries in his brain and was in a coma until he finally succumbed to his wounds on August 12.

“At first she was in a deep coma,” her husband recalled at the Russian departure. “Then he entered a stupor. And one day he completely regained consciousness … he couldn’t talk because he was in a fan, but he was absolutely aware.”

He continued to say that despite the fleeting brightness of hope, “one day she suddenly returned to a comma,” and her health began to deteriorate quickly. “They were able to restart their hearts once … but the next day Ksenya died. They couldn’t restart their hearts again,” he said.

Alexandrova and her husband got married in March, only four months before the accident.

In An Instagram post on April 2 on your wedding Day, Alexandrova wrote that he remembered every second of the event that was full of so much “love and joy.” He added that he could not believe that his wedding could resonate so much “inside” her.
