Former Zimbabwe National Team soccer The player Tendai Ndoro was found dead at home in South Africa, the country’s football association said Tuesday. I was 40 years old.
HeZimbabwe Football Association (Zifa) issued a statement on social networks that confirm the death of Ndoro. The association did not provide details about his death.

“The Zimbabwe Football Association is deeply sad upon learning of the premature death of the former Warriors striker, Tendai Ndoro,” reads the statement. “Ndoro was a talented striker who proudly represented our nation, wearing the Warriors shirt with distinction. His talent, commitment and passion for the game inspired many, and their contributions to Zimbabuense football will be remembered forever.
“On behalf of the Zifa Executive Committee, the Football Family and the entire Nation, we extend our most sincere condolences to the family, friends and loved ones of NDORO during this difficult time. May your soul rest in eternal peace.”

The veteran striker made his debut in the national team in 2013 and came to appear in 14 games, scoring five goals, until 2017. He also played for several professional clubs, more recently with Al-Orouba of the Omar Professional League in 2020.
