Sharon Stone has some words of wisdom for anyone who wants to make another iteration of “basic instinct.”

The Oscar winning actor, who starred in the original version of the film in 1992, returned to his iconic role for “Basic Instinct 2” of 2006. Although the first film was a commercial success, the second film was the opposite.

Despite the failure, a new restart of the film is in process, and will be written by the original writer of the film. But don’t count on seeing Stone in her.

“If it were the way I was, I would just say that I don’t know why you would,” Stone told Craig Melvin of the “Today” program in a new interview, released on Monday.

“I mean, go ahead!” He said emphatically. “But, good luck!”

Melvin called Stone’s openness “so refreshing” and explained where it comes from.

“I am at that stage of my life where I already retired once,” he said. “And I already died a couple of times. I’m like, ‘What are you going to do? Mot me again?

Stone recently shared a frank story about tension with his “Instinct Basic” co -star Michael Douglas. (The time line of Stone’s events has been played by a Douglas representative).

“Michael Douglas did not want to put his naked butt on the screen with a stranger,” Stone said in an interview with Business Insider published earlier this month. “And I understood. I wouldn’t even try it. But that was also for a different reason; we had an argument before that.”

Stone said the argument took place during the Cannes Film Festival when Douglas “talked about someone and their children” with a group of people, including Stone.

“Actually, I really knew this person I was talking about. So I said something and he replied, saying: ‘What the hell do you know?'” He said Stone.

“Then this shouts at me in a whole group of people. And I am not the person who says: ‘oh, apologize, superstar,” he added. “I went around my chair and said:” Let’s get out. “This is how we met.”

A Douglas representative told People magazine at that time that Douglas was “very surprised” for Stone’s memory, and “he doesn’t remember any argument within that period.”
