Mila Kunis says what she
Mila Kunis knows what you are supposed to say about preparing for a movie, but he will say it anyway.
The actor opened to Vogue magazine about the intense time he spent training for Darren Aronofsky’s film, “Black Swan”, for a retrospective piece in honor of the film’s 15th anniversary.
“My preparation was a lot of dance and very little food, which I know you shouldn’t say, but it’s the truth. I drank a lot of broth and danced for 12 hours a day,” Kunis told Vogue.
“We were supposed to have only three months of preparation before filming began, but we lost some financing, so it extended to six months while Darren tried to find money,” he added. “I stink Darren, but Nat and I were very happy because we had three additional months to dance.”
Natalie Portman, who performed the leadership in “Black Swan”, previously opened about his rigorous preparation in an interview with Vogue in 2010, the same year the film was released.

“The dance training for ‘Black Swan’ started a year before the movie, two hours a day,” he said at that time. “Six months later we increased up to five hours a day, and the last two months were eight hours a day, because we added choreography and cross training, so I was also swimming a mile a day.”
“The discipline was good for the part: it hurt a lot; your body has a constant pain,” said Portman, when the magazine added that the actor, “like most dancers, survived in coffee and ibuprofen, and slept five hours per night.”
Meanwhile Portman and Kunis were physically struggled to the extreme, Aronofsky also tried, without success, playing mental games with both of them.
“My opinion is that I was trying to be a cunning director and make them discuss,” the director shared with Vogue.

“Mila and Natalie realized very quickly what I was doing and made fun of me, so it quickly became a joke that we all understood,” he added. “Both are very intelligent and instantly were aware of any trick that was playing.”
