News collaborator, Andrew McCarthy, said Friday that President Donald Trump has an “old dispute” with his former national security advisor John Bolton, and denounced the FBI raid at Bethesda’s house, Maryland of Bethesda, Maryland of Bolton.

The federal agents conducted the authorized search by the Court as part of an investigation revived on whether Bolton had mistreated the classified records, according to multiple news reports. Bolton told CNN that the search surprised him and said he is “investigating him more.”

“Well, you know, look, this is a very sad development,” McCarthy said Friday during an appearance in News. “It’s one that we have seen again and again, but this is an old dispute. I think everything is about Bolton’s book. Bolton was a jihad against Trump after being fired.

“There was an important controversy about whether he had included information classified in the book, if he had stained notes that he took in the meetings and things that ended in his memoirs,” he continued on the memories of 2020 of Bolton, “the room where it happened: a memory of the White House.”

McCarthy, a former assistant prosecutor of the Southern District of New York, said the book was quite substantial and included “many appointments”, and argued that these “must have been difficult to include only from memory.”

If the raid was part of a long -date personal resentment still without being clear, since Trump said Friday that he was not given an anticipated warning of the search for the 7 am, but also pointed out that “he is not a fan” of Bolton, and called him an antipatriotic war falcon “low life.”

The role of Bolton as National Security Advisor in the first Trump administration came to an end in 2019. Trump said at that time that he had fired Bolton, while Bolton said he really voluntarily resigned. He has been an open critic from Trump since then.

However, the Department of Justice tried to block the book during Trump’s first mandate in 2020, and launched a criminal investigation. The probe closed in 2021 under the administration of then President Joe Biden, but now it seems to be reopening.

While McCarthy has previously sentenced Trump for his role in the disturbances of the Capitol of January 6, 2021 in Washington, DC, he also accused former President Barack Obama and former state secretary Hillary Clinton to Colude to steal the 2016 elections.

On Friday, McCarthy accused Trump of participating in the so -called “Law.”

“I expected its administration not to practice the things that were practiced in it, but a large part of the law is to harass people with investigations,” he said in News. “So, even if there are never positions, there are already … there has already been a search warrant.

“Obviously, there is an ongoing criminal investigation, there will probably be a large component of the jury,” McCarthy continued. “And even if there are no positions, this will be a big problem for Bolton personally in the coming months, and maybe even years.”
