The governor of Maryland, Wes Moore (D), shot President Donald Trump on Sunday, who attacked his history about crime, threatened to send troops to Baltimore and questioned his military service.
“Wes Moore, the governor of Maryland, lied about getting a bronze star?” Trump wrote on his real social website.
In a follow -up, Moore called Trump “President Bone Spurs”, a reference to a dispute diagnosis that the president used to bend military service during the Vietnam War, and raised his own issue:

Moore also shared a verification of Grok facts, the AI tool incorporated into X, on its own record:

Moore listed the medal in a request for a White House scholarship in 2006 after his command officers said he had the necessary approvals and that he could enumerate it.
But the paperwork never happened, which caused questions about its inclusion of the prize in its application. Moore did not correct the television presenters who mentioned the prize when presenting it.
Later, Moore described him as an “honest error,” according to the Washington Post, who said he finally received the prize in 2024 when the paperwork was sent again.

Moore’s last Tiff with Trump began when he invited the president to walk through Baltimore with him in response to the use of president’s troops in Washington and threat to send soldiers to other US cities.
Trump said the invitation had “a quite unpleasant and provocative tone” and called Moore a “failed” governor.
“Stop speaking and get to work, wes,” he wrote about Truth Social. “In addition, I gave Wes Moore a lot of money to fix his demolished bridge. Will I have to rethink that decision now?”

Trump does not “give” Moore “a lot of money” for the Key bridge of Francis Scott, which collapsed last year after being beaten by a cargo ship that lost energy. That money was authorized by a federal expenses bill approved by Congress last year.
Moore also made a last release for Trump to visit Baltimore to see the city for himself: it is not necessary to walk:
