Wes Moore Trump
The governor of Maryland, Wes Moore, said Tuesday that President Donald Trump “seems to be obsessed with me,” since he made fun of the president’s statement that Moore called him “the best president of my life.”
Appearing in CNN, the Democratic governor ridiculed Trump’s “absolutely comic” memory of his brief meeting in the game of the Army-Navy in December, while indicating how the president usually refers to Moore’s appearance.
The images of the Trump and Moore meeting in the game, of an episode of “The Art of the Surge” by News Nation and played by News on Monday, suggests a friendship between the couple, but there is no time when Moore calls Trump the greatest.
Initially, Moore responded to Trump’s claim on X, previously Twitter, simply writing “hahaha.” “That is still telling you that, Mr. President,” he added.
But Trump repeated the accusation on Tuesday during a three -hour cabinet meeting, while he also doubled in his opinion that Baltimore, Maryland’s largest city, is a “hell.”
Trump also made fun of Moore’s apparent presidential aspirations. “Has anyone heard about him? It’s another hopeful for the president. I don’t think so,” Trump said.
His dispute was caused by Trump’s threats to extend his crime repression beyond Washington, DC, and send soldiers to other US cities, including Baltimore.
In turn, Moore invited the president to the city of Maryland to “walk through our streets”, while promoting reduce the violent crime rate and reduce the number of vacant homes throughout the city.
Among the round trip crime, Trump questioned the military service of the former US Army officer.

In “The Source” of CNN on Tuesday, host Kaitlan Collins asked Moore about Trump’s derogatory comments about Baltimore.
He replied: “The president seems to be obsessed with me. Today he called me a ‘beauty.’ And when I met him, he only talked about how a handsome guy was. And now he only continues to make statements that are simply false about the largest city in our state. “
Moore was also asked about the statement that he believes that Trump is the “best president” after the News clip of his brief exchange is reproduced for the Collins audience.
“I know this is a last -minute news for everyone, but the president is not telling the truth,” said Moore.
“What happened right there was when I met the president, and then, after he started talking about how I am a handsome guy, I began to talk about the importance of the key bridge and how this state put a case study on how March collapse.
“And when they told us that it would take 11 months to clear the federal channel, which this state did it in 11 weeks, and we began to talk about how it was going to be done,” added the governor.
He continued explaining that he rejected an invitation to sit with the president in the University-Navy University Soccer Game, effectively clarifying if there was a greater interaction.
