James Carville was about the recognition of DNC land:
James Carville seemed enraged palpably that the National Democratic Committee began its annual summer meeting on Monday with a land recognition, saying in its podcast “Politics War Room” Thursday: “You are supposed to try to win fucking elections.”
The president of DNC, Ken Martin, opened the Minneapolis summit by presenting Lindy Sowmick, treasurer of the Democratic Pharmacy Democratic Party of Minnesota and self -described “strange woman indigenous”, who read a recognition in honor of the Dakota people of the region.
Carville argued that such rituals hurt the sick Democratic Party, since the right -wing voices mock them as signs of weakness for their audience. The New York Times reported that the Democratic Party is losing registered voters at an amazing pace, while President Donald Trump continues to accumulate power.
“It’s fine,” Carville said in his podcast after reading some of Sowmick’s words to the audience. “Madam, you’re right. That land, what we did to the Native Americans, is very well documented. And it is a sad part of the history of our nation. Why are you mentioning this in an election?
“What we did with all kinds of things, with slavery, with experiments, with drugs, what we did during … the Confederation during the Civil War and Andersonville,” continued the 80 -year -old. “This is a choice, and DNC is not the place to discuss this!”
Carville’s comments arrive at a time of greater sensitivity to the idea that many try to bleach history. Trump recently complained that American museums are supposedly focusing too much on “how bad slavery was.”
However, Carville argued in his podcast that the DNC “does not exist to the right mistakes.”
“It exists, this is going through this, to win elections,” he said. “Now, do you think it will help us win elections … When talking about the theft of lands of the Dakotas? We are not. Please stop this, in the name of a fair and merciful God.”

He continued: “Don’t you see what is happening? Don’t you see where this has taken us? For the love of God, Lady, what is Ken Martin doing, doing that? You don’t have only one job, Ken. It’s to win. Honestly, I mean, she is probably a friend of yours in Minnesota.”
Martin served as president of the Minnesota Democratic-Farmer-Labor party from 2011 to March of this year. Sowmick began as a stop in 2018 and has worked with the party in several capabilities over the years.

Carville finally stopped accumulating in Sowmick, but continued furious for the recognition of the Earth.
“I’m sure he’s a perfectly elegant and pleasant person,” Carville said Thursday. “That has nothing to do with this. You are supposed to try to win fucking elections. Before leaving this, in case you ask, News [News] I was about this as a stench in shit. “
“They were everywhere, as you could imagine,” he concluded.
