Ryan Clark and Aaron Rodgers share a story full of criticism.
The last turn in the Clark-Rodgers saga took place during the recent safety visit to the Pittsburgh Steelers training camp.
During a guest appearance in “América del Fútbol!” Podcast, Clark detailed how the four -time NFL MVP gave the cold shoulder in the camp.
“There were many people I felt that they were excited to see me in the camp. And then there was a [who wasn’t]”Clark said, in apparent reference to Rodgers.

However, the current ESPN analyst and former Steelers defensive suggested that it reached a new level of respect for Rodgers after interaction.

Clark said he intended to extend some hospitality to Rodgers, but his greeting was ignored.
“I wanted to sit with him, welcome Steeler Nation and simply have a conversation … I was talking with [Steelers offensive coordinator] Arthur Smith. I talked to some of the boys that I see from the special team meeting. Under the window down and say: ‘What happens guys?’ Arthur Smith speaks. Aaron Rodgers looks at me, and says nothing.

“I respected him because he said: ‘I’m not going to be false,” Clark said. “As far as feeling or whatever, he is … not someone with whom I cheat in that way, and I will not pretend it. And I think it establishes the tone that you and I do not speak.”
Clark was one of the open critics of Rodgers’ arrival to Pittsburgh. In June, Clark argued that Rodgers landed a one -year agreement with the Steelers should be considered the “worst case” for the famous NFL franchise.

Rodgers did not appear in any of the three pre -season games of the Steelers. Pittsburgh opens the regular season on September 7 against New York Jets.
