The Inter Miami striker, Luis Suarez, seemed to spit a member of the Seattle Sounders personnel in the middle of high tensions after Seattle’s 3-0 defeat to win the 2025 Leagues Cup Final on Sunday.
A thrust match between the two teams exploded almost immediately after the final whistle.

The coach of the Sounders, Brian Schmetzer, lamented the “frustrations” after the game, but insisted that he would not allow that to be “the story.”

Sunday was not Suárez’s first controversy. He has bitten the players on several occasions, especially the defender of Italy Giorgio Chiellini during the group stage of the FIFA World Cup 2014.
FIFA prohibited it as a result, ending its participation in that World Cup.
