Dana Carvey surprises David Spade with juicy details about Heidi Gardners reported SNL departure
We hope it is just a rumor.
In Wednesday’s episode of the “Fly“Podcast presented by”Saturday Night Live“Alums Carvey background and David SpadeCarvey launched a great bomb on the news that the cast member Heidi Gardner As reported, it will be Leaving “SNL” after an eight -year career.
“As far as I know, from this recording, that it was not his idea,” Carvey said about Gardner, before adding that “I could be wrong.”

Spade seemed visibly stunned.
“That would be a bit shocking,” Spade said. “Because she really is one of the main ones you know about that program and always does a great job.”
“You never know, and it is difficult, but it was very, very surprised,” Carvey added before pointing out that he is one of the most versatile artists in the program.
Gardner has not publicly commented on his departure from the legendary Sketch Show. Gardner’s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comments from News.

The “shrunk” actor marks the fourth deviation of “SNL” in the middle of a cast that leads to its next 51st season. Other members of the cast that will not return include Michael Longfellow, Emil Wakim and Devon Walker.
However, Gardner has been a player widely used in the program for almost a decade, and The Hollywood Reporter said he had been the oldest female member of the current cast.
Last year, Gardner’s popularity in the program was very clear when he became viral for finally breaking during the now infamous “Beavis and Butt-Head” sketch.

Although Gardner played several recurring characters during his mandate in “SNL”, including two that appeared in the “weekend update” segment, when the reports were broken last week that he would not return, fans in X cried their departure with clips of the sketch “Beaavis and Butt-Head”.
And although Carvey and Spade were surprised by the news that Gardner could have obtained the ax, both agreed that perhaps it was not the worst in the world for the comedian.
