Kelly Clarkson returned to social networks, sharing a sincere message with her fans and followers.

Clarksson captivated the public for the first time in 2002 with his voice in “American Idol”, launching a race that resonated with millions. Now, in 2025, the singer thanked fans for a moment like this.

“For all who took time 23 years ago to call and vote for me, thanks,” Clarkson wrote on Instagram on Thursday, along with a photo of his victory. “Win American Idol changed my life and I will always be grateful for all of you who have supported me for so many years.”

The singer and presenter of interview programs praised her trip and took the time to notice how important it is to find the “purpose” of one.

“It is a gift to find its purpose and passion, and be able to make a living is the cherry on top. Thank you, always,” he concluded.

This is the first post that Clarkson has made since the death of her ex -husband, Brandon Blackstock, of Cancer. The talent manager died on August 7, according to a statement from the people.

“With great sadness we share the news that Brandon Blackstock has died,” reads the statement. “Brandon fought bravely in cancer for more than three years. He died peacefully and was surrounded by a family.”

The same day, a few days before his residence in Las Vegas, Clarkson also postponed his programs to be “completely present” for his two children.
