Migrants for South Sudan
South Sudan Said on Saturday that a man repatient to Mexico United States Deported In July.
The man, a Mexican identified as Jesús Muñoz-Gutiérrez, was among a group of eight who had been in the custody of the government in the country of East Africa since his deportation in the United States.
His repatriation to Mexico was carried out by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Sudan in concert with the Mexican Embassy in neighboring Ethiopia, said the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of South Sudan in a statement.

The repatriation was carried out “in full compliance with relevant international law, bilateral agreements and established diplomatic protocols,” he said.
Rights groups have argued that the growing practice of the Trump administration to deport migrants to third countries Violated International Law and Basic Rights of migrants.
Deportations have faced the opposition of the courts in the US.
It is not clear if Gutiérrez and other deportees had access to legal representation.
The group of eight men was convicted of serious crimes, including murder, homicide, sexual assault, lascivious acts with a child and theft, in the United States, said the Trump administration. None of the deportees are from South Sudan: the others come from Cuba, Laos, Myanmar, Sudan and Vietnam.

The United States National Security Department has said that Gutierrez had a second degree murder sentence and was sentenced to life imprisonment.
Deportations mean a great political victory for the Trump administration, which has tried to convince countries around the world, regardless of their human rights history, to accept deportees who are not their citizens.
Other African nations received by the United States include Uganda, Eswatini and Rwanda. Eswatini, in southern Africa, received five men with a criminal record in July. Ruanda announced the arrival of a group of seven deported in mid -August.
