Israel Stops Gaza Aid Baring carrying Thunberg
The activist group by sending a Help boat flotilla To try to communicate with Gaza, Global Sumud Flotilla, he said on Tuesday that one of his boats was attacked by a drone during the night while he was docked in Tunisia. The group said that the six passengers who had been traveling on the boat were safe. News reported that the most famous members of the flotilla, including the Greta Thunberg climatic activist, had been traveling on the boat, although it was not clear who was on board at the time of the alleged strike.
Thunberg was part of a separate gaza flotilla that was arrested by Israeli forces Earlier this year too.
The Global Sumud flotilla shared what she said was a video of the attack camera of the attack, which seems to show a ball of flames that fall from above and hitting the boat.
“Last night, I was on the deck on the back of the ship and listened to a drone,” said Miguel Duarte, a Portuguese citizen, at a press conference organized by the group on Tuesday. “I left the cover of the roof to see a drone floating about three or four meters (yards) on my head, called my fellow members of the crew, two of us stayed there with the drone on our head, then we saw that the drone moved towards the front of the roof. He stayed a few seconds on a lot of life jackets, and then we broke down.”

Duarte said the “bomb exploded, there was a great flame, a fire on board immediately. We collected fire extinguishers, we fought with fire successfully, and everyone was safe, fortunately.”
The National Guard of Tunisia initially denied that there had been a drone strike, saying that “according to the initial inspections, the fire was caused by flames that broke in one of the life jackets aboard the ship, due to a lighter or a cigarette butts. There is no evidence of any hostile act or external orientation.”
The Interior Ministry of Tunisia also said that “the statements about a drone that falls into one of the ships docked in the port of Sidi Bou said they are unfounded.”
The ministry said that “the specialized security units inspected the traces of a fire that exploded in one of the life vests, which was quickly controlled, without causing human or material damage, except for the burning of several of these life jackets.”
However, a Sumud Flotilla Global Flotilla spokesman then told News themezone that the statements of the Tunisian authority had been published before watching the group’s video. The spokesman said that, according to that video, the Tunisian authorities had decided to create a special committee to investigate the incident.
“We appreciate the effort they are making to investigate, and we are waiting for the final result,” said Flotilla spokesman for News themezone.
The Interior Ministry of Tunisia did not immediately respond to the request for comments of News themezone on an investigation.
Israel maintains a blockade of Gaza, including its maritime border in the Mediterranean, so the flotilla would not have permission to dock there.
Israeli forces have Boats addressed and seized participate in activist flotillas to prevent them from breaking their block, even in a Raid in a boat in 2010 That left at least nine dead activists.
Israel has ruled out the flotillas as advertising acrobatics, and says that its maritime blockade is necessary to prevent weapons and other materials from being introduced into the Palestinian territory devastated by war, which for a long time has been governed by the terrorist group designated by the United States and Israel Hamas.
The Israel Ministry of Foreign Affairs did not respond immediately to the request for comments of News themezone on the incident in Tunisia.
The Sumud Global Flotilla, which hopes to transport humanitarian aid materials to Gaza and create advertising of the terrible situation there, left Spain a little over a week ago.
