Bernie Sanders makes a surprise appearance in Coachella
Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT.) He played the political equivalent of his greatest successes during a surprise appearance at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival on Saturday.
The 83 -year -old progressive icon took the stage ahead of the performance of the independent pop artist Clairo to pronounce a burning speech, where he enraged against President Donald Trump, corporate greed and the billionaire class.
When gathering young voters to defend democracy, Sanders told the public: “This country faces some very difficult challenges. The future of what happens to the United States depends on their generation.”
“You can get away and ignore what happens, but if you do, you do it at your own risk. We need you to stand up and fight for justice, fight for economic justice, racial justice and social justice.”

Boos echoed in the crowd when Sanders began to sound with the president.
“He thinks that climate change is a hoax,” the senator continued. “He is dangerously wrong, and you and I are going to have to face the fossil fuel industry and tell them to stop destroying this planet.”
When he let Clairo assume the center of the stage, he thanked the singer and composer for using “his prominence to fight for women’s rights and try to end the terrible and brutal war in Gaza.”

The senator’s surprise set occurred only a few hours after he headed a demonstration in the Gloria Molina Grand Park of Los Angeles, where the representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (Dn.y.) also spoke and the Musical guests Neil Young, Maggie Rogers and Joan Baez acted.
