The new robot that could make tasks one thing of the past

What would happen if a robot could handle cleaning, service and even complex tasks around your home or workplace? That is exactly what X Square Robot expects to offer with his last release.

The company has just presented Quanta X2, a highly advanced robotic butler designed for skill and versatility. Together with the robot, Wall-Oss presented an open source artificial intelligence model (AI) aimed at promoting robots that can adapt to unpredictable tasks of the real world.

These great revelations come with an important impulse of financing of around $ 100 million in the support of the A+ series directed by Alibaba Cloud, with the participation of Hongshan, Ince Capital, Meituan, Legend Star and Legend Capital.

Quanta x2: built for daily life and beyond

Quanta X2 is not your typical robot. Standing at approximately 5 feet and 8 inches high and with a weight of around 210 pounds, it has 62 degrees of freedom for a soft and realistic movement. Its robotic arm of seven degrees of freedom is paired with business hands that can detect pressure changes and make delicate movements.

The robot can grab, clean or even express emotions through gestures. A modular clamp system allows you to unite brushes or mop heads for a 360 degree cleaning. With a 30 -inch arm range, a payload capacity of approximately 13 pounds and fine precision of up to 0.001 inches, Quanta X2 is designed to function in home and industrial environments.

Wall-Oss: Ai smartest for unpredictable tasks

Together with Quanta X2, X Square Robot introduced Wall-Ooss, a new open source incorporated model. Trained in action-language data, it helps robots to “think” already act as humans when they face unpredictable tasks.

Unlike the specific task systems that fail out of narrow scenarios, Wall-Oss is generalized in multiple types of robots. It also resolves key challenges such as catastrophic oblivion and synchronization of vision, language and action. When reasoning, planning and executing perfectly, robots driven by Wall-Os can move from the laboratory to the disorderly real world.

Developers will be able to access Wall-Oss in Github and hugging their face, building data sets promoted by the community to accelerate adoption.
