FBI Kash Patel Blanks director when asked about the notorious mass shooter
Representative Sydney Kamlager-Dove (D-Calif.) Called the director of the FBI Kash Patel for not knowing the white supremacist and the mass shooter Dylann Rof, who shot and killed nine black people in a church in Charleston, South Carolina, in 2015.
“Dylann Rof, who followed the propaganda of the white supremacist, murdered nine black parishioners in 2015. Do they deny this?” Kamlager-Dove asked Patel during a hearing on Wednesday of the Judicial Committee of the Chamber.
“Sorry. Dylann Rof?” Patel asked. “Can you give me more information?”
Kamlager-Dove replied: “You are head of the FBI. You probably know. If you don’t know, it’s fine.”
“If you can give me a reminder, I have a lot in front of me,” Patel said in response.
“They were national news,” Kamlager-Dove replied.

Kamlager-Dove was questioning Patel about mass murderers and their motivations on Wednesday. Patel has faced two days of hearings in both Congress cameras, during which he was also questioned about the death of the right -wing activist Charlie Kirk, the case against the sentenced sexual offender Jeffrey Epstein and Patel’s loyalty to President Donald Trump.
Patel defended FBI’s work by arresting Tyler Robinson, the 22 -year -old who is suspected of shooting and killing Kirk last week at the University of Utah Valley. Patel said that publishing images of Robinson’s Surveillance Chamber “led to his apprehension.”
But legislators questioned Patel about his premature announcement on Kirk’s death day that the FBI had caught the suspect. (The FBI had temporarily stopped a person of interest, but he was not the alleged shooter).
“I am seeing that FBI leadership focuses more on the influence of social networks and political revenge than on the fight against crime,” Senator Chris Coons (D-Del.) Said.
Patel also got into a heated exchange with Senator Cory Booker (Dn.J.) after Booker told Patel that he would not last long as FBI head.
“You are a shame for the division of this country!” Patel shouted Booker in response, adding: “Your time is over.”

“You don’t tell me that my time is over! The people of New Jersey tell me when my time is, you can’t give me a conference!” Booker shouted at him.
While questioning Patel, Kamlager-Dove listed the names of mass shooters, including Robert Bowers, who killed 11 people inside a Pittsburgh synagogue in 2018. Kamlager-Dove asked Patel if he agreed with Trump that the “radicals to the left are the problem.”
Patel said there is an ideology on both sides that leads to violence.
