TURNING POINT USA Under Charlie Kirk
Erika Kirk, a widow of Charlie Kirk, will happen as director of Turning Point USA, the non -profit right of right that she established to advocate conservatism on the university campus.
Its acquisition, announced on Thursday after a unanimous vote by the Turning Points Board, is not a big surprise. When she went to the public in live comments days after her husband’s death, Erika Kirk seemed to be ready to take care.
“You have no idea of the fire that you have ignited within this wife. The cries of this widow will resonate throughout the world as a battle cry,” he said. “For everyone listening tonight throughout the United States, the movement that my husband built will not die … No one will forget my husband’s name, and I will make sure of that.”
“The movement does not go anywhere,” he promised.

Erika Kirk has not had much to say on the path of the most intense rhetoric of her late husband against immigrants, Muslims and people LGBTQ+, but there are indications that she can continue with that message and something else.
When he appeared in an episode of his podcast earlier this year, the couple took a audience question about who was more conservative. Without omitting a rhythm, Charlie Kirk replied: “Erika, with much, not even close. I am a moderate compared to Erika.”
She laughed when she agreed with him, saying that having children made her “100%” more conservative, “which did not believe it was possible,” he added.
The turning point did not respond immediately when asked to expand the ways in which Erika Kirk is more conservative than her late husband and if she plans to take the organization even further to the right.

The news of his new role causes another great question: how will Erika Kirk, 36 years old?
“You are in the intention, as a woman, to be the guardian of your home, be your husband’s help companion,” he said at a Christian conference earlier this year.
“When I met Charlie, that was all. I couldn’t care less a race,” he said in June at the leadership summit of young women from Turning Point.

Although Erika Kirk rejected the “culture of the boss of the boss” as “toxic” during those appearances, she was already a businesswoman with a podcast, clothing line and Christian ministry.
Before becoming the wife of Charlie Kirk, Erika Kirk, then Erika Frantzve, played university basketball and won Miss Arizona USA in 2012. He also briefly appeared in an episode of the “Summer House” reality series of Bravo and then said he rejected an offer for a full -time role in the program to focus on his studies at the University of Liberty.
She and Charlie Kirk met when she met with him for a work at Turning Point and married in 2021.
