The chief coach of the Kansas City Chiefs, Andy Reid, minimized the last lateral incident with the closed wing Travis Kelce during his victory over the New York giants on Sunday.

The heated exchange occurred at the end of the second quarter after the impulse of the Chiefs stagnated while the offensive had a careless start for the game. Kelce left the field and Reid hit his shoulder on his player’s chest. The two said their peace before moving away.

Reid said in the half time that he expected more “juice” of his players and that he did not think too much about the interaction with Kelce.

“Do not do too much. He is a passionate guy and I love that part. I’ve been through many things with him, so that is part of that.

“I love Travis’s passion, so I agree with that. We did not have enough in the second quarter, we were not where we needed to be. He knows when to go back the pedal and he knows when to push it too. That is part of what I love.
