A former writer of the Hulu series “The Bear” was handcuffed on a metro-north train in New York City on Thursday.

While he addresses Connecticut, Alex O’Keefe, 31, was arrested for the application of the law after “a white woman” was supposed to disagree with her presence on board.

“I was arrested on the @Mta to Connecticut train today, I did it, handcuffed and detained,” O’Keefe wrote in an Instagram post on Thursday. “An old white woman got on the train and immediately pointed to me and told me to run how I was sitting. I refused, so she went to the driver and complained.”

O’Kefe explained that the train stopped and the police finally reached the scene. In the video publication, you can hear that he was the “a black guy on the train.” He later said that the incident was racially motivated.

“While I waited for the police to arrive, the friend of old Karen said: ‘You are no longer the minority.’ The police told me to leave the train, I refused and asked what I was doing illegally,” O’Kefe said.

The officers told O’Kefe that he was being escorted the train because he was “disturbing peace.” He was subsequently arrested and questioned, and then released.

“Only blacks stayed close and recorded the arrest,” he wrote. “When I demanded a lawyer and reminded them that they did not even make a statement of the woman who complained that they finally freed me. This country is growing more psychopath day by day. What will you do about it?”

“If you are putting your feet in the seats, you are breaking the rules of our nearby railroad and meters of the entire MTA,” he said.

He reiterated not to have “seen the video”, but emphasized the agency’s policy.

“The conclusion is that the train should not have delayed with everyone for a long time,” he said. “The police have to get involved because someone does not take their feet from the seat? That is a situation that the person who did that should reconsider … just get their feet out of the seat. It’s that simple. And respect other passengers. But we will take a look at the video and deal with all the dramas that seem to get out of these simple interactions in these days.”
