Stevie Nicks imagined her famous life in a fun letter to her parents at 25 years
Stevie Nicks, a legend of Fleetwood Mac and alone, had already imagined what fame would be in a letter to her parents and brother in 1973.
On Monday, Nicks, now 77, shared the ingenious and knowledgeable message he wrote from a recording studio in the San Fernando de los Ángeles Valley, while he still moved away a few years from the Superstardom:
Dear mom, dad and chris,
Well, here I am, once again in the “famous” Sound City recording studio. I am getting tired of sitting listening to 12 hours of music per day. Well, I know that in the end it will be worth it, and when I am sitting in my little but luxurious Beverly hills, with a view to my small but good taste that is totally isolated, where I can release in the nude and tan my fat body while I expect my elevation of plastic surgery legs, everything will be worth it. Otherwise, everything here is only “Peach-Y”.
At that time, Nicks was in the middle of the recording “Buckingham Nicks” with then boyfriend Lindsey Buckingham. The album would capture Mick Fleetwood’s attention, who asked Buckingham to join his band. But Buckingham insisted that Nicks be included in the agreement. The rest is the story of rock ‘n’ roll.
