Chrissy Teigen Thinks Why People Find Meghan Markle Polarizing
Chrissy Teigen opens up about her friendship with Meghan Markle.
The two, who starred in “Deal or No Deal” many years ago, recently appeared together in the second season of the Duchess of Sussex’s Netflix series, “With Love, Meghan.”
In an interview with People magazine, Teigen gushed about the royals.
“I really adore her. I think she’s incredibly strong,” the cookbook author said.
“It’s crazy to me how polarizing she is to so many different people, when she’s actually such a kind, good person who wants the best for all of her friends and the best for the people around her, and the best for her own relationship and her kids,” Teigen explained.
He added that the duchess just lives “simply” and “people come up with all these different things that she could be devoted to or what she wants,… [but] “It’s not that complicated.”

Aside from the two’s beginnings on the game show, the actor and model also connected after they both experienced a heartbreaking loss in their fertility journeys.
In 2021, Teigen said the royal, who wrote publicly about her own miscarriage, reached out after Teigen experienced a loss at 20 weeks.

The model said during an appearance on “Watch What Happens Live” that Meghan “has been very kind to me” and is just “a really wonderful person.”
He added: “And that’s why you look at everything and think, ‘My God, what’s wrong with people having to make this person so malicious or so crazy, when it’s as simple as them being as nice as everyone says they are?’”
