Amy Poehler satirizes Pam Bondi

Mocking the attorney general’s testy Tuesday hearing before the Senate Judiciary Committee, the comic began by telling the committee: “My name is Pam Bondi, I spell it with an ‘I’ because Yo “I’m not going to answer any of your questions.”

She was armed with numerous insults as the investigation progressed, first refusing to reveal whether President Donald Trump had ordered her to investigate his political enemies.

“I’m not going to discuss my private conversations with the president,” he told the committee. “I’m not going to tell you who said what, or who fell asleep mid-sentence, or who kept calling me Ivanka while I patted her lap.”

When asked if Epstein’s files contained anything incriminating about President Trump, “SNL” knockoff AG said, “I’m not even going to dignify that question with a lie… I tried to read Epstein’s files, but I got really bored. It’s very repetitive,” he added. “Get over this, get over that.” Yawn.”

When the president’s decision to send troops to American cities emerged, “SNL” surprised audiences with a cameo from Tina Fey as Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem.

After making an entrance carrying a giant gun, she told everyone: “That’s right, it’s me, Kristi Noem… I’m the weirdest kind of person in Washington, DC: a brunette that Donald Trump listens to.”

As Fey’s fake Noem demanded an end to the current government shutdown, she took a second to praise the “heroes” at the center of the country’s immigration crackdown.

“Our government agents are working without pay,” he said. “Luckily my guys at ICE don’t care, they do it for the love of the game.”

Fey and Poehler then teamed up to pitch a pitch to potential deportation thugs, asking DHS hopefuls: “Do you need a job now? Are you a big, tough guy? Tough enough for the military or the police? Do you take supplements you bought at a gas station? Do you like wearing zip ties because the people in your life don’t trust you with their keys? Then buckle up and put some on. Oakleys, big guy. Welcome to ICE.”
