Melinda French Gates details why her divorce from Bill Gates was
Melinda French Gates is apparently ignoring the possibility of reconciliation with her ex -husband, the co -founder of Microsoft, Bill Gates.
Speaking to the United Kingdom The Times in January, Gates described his 2021 divorce from the French doors as “the error that sorry,” and added: “The divorce was miserable to me and Melinda for at least two years.”
However, in an interview with the same store published on Sunday, French Gates offered a different perspective about the division, calling him “something necessary” when asked about Gates’ comment.
“If you can’t live your values within your most intimate relationship, it was necessary,” said the philanthropist. “I don’t even know what to do with that statement, so I’m not going to comment on what he says.”
She continued observing: “He has her own life. Now I have my life. I’m very happy.”
At the time of their separation in 2021, the French doors and doors had been married for 27 years. The couple shares three adult children: Jennifer Gates Nassar, 28; Rory Gates, 25; and Phoebe Gates, 22.
