Kim Kardashian is just looking for “a little grace” as she navigates raising her eldest child, North West.

“I think any mother of a teen or preteen, unless you’ve been here, please, we just need a little grace,” the Skims founder said in the interview, published Wednesday.

“It’s interesting because all the kids like to wear the same things, but then my daughter tries to wear them and I’m like, ‘Okay, we’ll never wear that again,'” Kardashian explained. “Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the entire world.”

“And she, you know, tends to be a girl who dresses like a tomboy most of the time,” the reality star added of the unique position her daughter finds herself in.

“And she wanted to try something that her friends were wearing and she went to the same place that they went, and they all got these outfits, and then she wears them, and it’s like, ‘Okay, wait, maybe you can’t wear that,’ you know? And as a mom, you’re learning at the same time.”

“But what I do know is that my baby is a very good and very sweet girl,” the “All’s Fair” actor said.

“I think anyone who is raising children, especially four children alone, I do the best I can and my babies are good babies,” she said. “I just urge everyone to like it, be non-judgmental, and have fun with single moms trying to figure it all out with, you know, a preteen.”

“It’s a lot, if you know it, you know it,” the 44-year-old added with a laugh.

In the candid interview, Kardashian also shed light on what it’s like to co-parent with her ex-husband Kanye West, who now goes by Ye. The two share four children: daughters North, 12, and Chicago, 7; and children Santo, 9, and Psalm, 6.

“It’s not easy. But, I mean, I raise the kids, you know, full time,” Kardashian told Cooper. “They live with me. I appreciate a great, healthy relationship with my children and their father, and I think he knows that.”

“I push it all the time, but I also protect them when, you know, it’s time to do it. And it goes in waves and phases and it takes a lot of work,” he added.

When Cooper asked how long it had been since Ye saw her children, Kardashian answered truthfully.

“It’s probably been a couple of months since we heard from him,” he shared.

Kardashian and West were married from 2014 to 2021. Their divorce was finalized in 2022.
