Trump receives high praise from famous rapper for his comments about Nigeria
Nicki Minaj thanked President Donald Trump for speaking out about the persecution of Christians in Nigeria.
in a x publication On Saturday, the rap superstar said Trump’s comments condemning the ongoing killing of Christians in the West African country gave him a “deep sense of gratitude.”
“No group should be persecuted for practicing their religion. We don’t have to share the same beliefs to respect each other,” he wrote alongside a screenshot of Trump’s comments.
Minaj, who supposedly dedicated a performance of her 2014 song “Anaconda” to Trump in the past, added: “Thank you to the president and his team for taking this seriously. God bless all persecuted Christians. Let us remember to lift them up in prayer.”
On October 31 Social Truth In his post, Trump called the “mass killing” in Nigeria an “existential threat.”
“Christianity faces an existential threat in Nigeria. Thousands of Christians are being murdered. Radical Islamists are responsible for this mass killing,” he wrote.
Noting that “America cannot stand by while such atrocities occur in Nigeria and many other countries,” Trump added: “We are ready, willing and able to save our great Christian population around the world!”

Following the songwriter’s release, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Mike Waltz thanked Minaj, born Onika Tanya Maraj, for “using her platform to speak out in defense of persecuted Christians in Nigeria.”
“We cannot allow this to continue,” Waltz wrote in a Saturday X post. “Every brother and sister of Christ must come together and say, ‘Enough!’”
Waltz went on to invite the musician to meet him at the United States Embassy in New York to discuss the matter further.
“I would love to speak with you more deeply about what our administration is doing to protect the freedoms of Christians around the world,” she added, to which Minaj responded in a separate post that she would be “honored” to have the opportunity.
Meanwhile, in another Truth Social post, Trump threatened to withdraw aid to the Nigerian government if it “continues to allow the murder of Christians.”

He also told the US Department of Defense to possibly prepare to go into the country “with firearms” to “completely eliminate the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrible atrocities.”
