Serena Williams reveals why she publicly avoided Taylor Swift and
Serena Williams planned to cross with her friend Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl 2025 in February, but says she chose to wait for a very relatable reason.
Speaking to Time after the departure was appointed one of this most influential people this week, the legend of tennis said he hoped to secure the Swift autograph for his 7 -year -old daughter, Olympia, and even waited outside the superstar suite suite in the Césars Superdome of New Orleans.
But as the game progressed and it was clear that Kansas City bosses lost to the Eagles Philadelphia, Williams decided that it would be better not to bother Swift, whose very time boyfriend, Travis Kelce, is a tight wing with the chiefs.
“I am a mother. I was ready to go here and say: ‘Taylor, come to look for this girl,'” he recalled, he added: “It is difficult when your team is losing. I understand it totally.”

Williams, who made a surprise appearance during the part -time show of Kendrick Lamar, defended Swift against the choir of the boos he received when he appeared in a Jumbotron during the game.
“Why did you boo? his? “She told Time. That is simply horrible.”
In another part of the interview, Williams closed the involvement that he had appeared in part time to send a message to Drake, whom he briefly came out in 2011. The Lamar set included its controversial Diss track “not like us”, in which it considers Drake a “certified pedophile” that should be “placed on the neighborhood’s clock.”
