Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) has confided in associates that she wants to run for president in 2028, NOTUS reported Wednesday.

His recent backlash against President Donald Trump and the Republican Party over health care and the Jeffrey Epstein files is not accidental, according to the report, which cited four sources familiar with the matter. Neither was his appearance on the typically more liberal talk show “The View” and “Real Time With Bill Maher.”

It’s part of a makeover to run for the White House, according to NOTUS.

Her campaign would be based on the premise that she is “a true MAGA and that others have gone astray” and believes she can muster enough financial support to win the Republican primary, the outlet wrote.

Greene denied the report and showed text telling NOTUS that she had published “unfounded gossip.” Her boyfriend, Real America’s Voice reporter Brian Glenn, also weighed in denying it.

Greene was the subject of a surprising claim this week from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.). The progressive House member said in an Instagram live stream that Greene is challenging the GOP’s stances because she is seeking revenge after Trump and company allegedly “shut down” her Senate aspirations.

Greene dismissed AOC’s theory, saying people are “tired of stupid attacks like AOC’s video.”
