Sharon Osbourne shares voicemail she received from Trump after Ozzy’s death, which criticized Trump

The family of late heavy metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne has shared the voicemail President Donald Trump left them after the Black Sabbath star died of a heart attack at his home in England in July.

It also drew praise for the president from the Prince of Darkness’ wife, Sharon Osbourne.

On the latest episode of “The Osbournes” podcast, Sharon spoke about the “outpouring of love” the family had received following Ozzy’s death when her son Jack Osbourne played a message from the president.

In the audio, Trump said:

As his daughter Kelly Osbourne, whose poor choice of words during a 2015 attack on Trump backfired, sat quietly, Jack said of the president: “Love him or hate him, he didn’t have to call and leave a voicemail.”

Sharon Osbourne, who in 2019 condemned Trump for sharing a political video set to Ozzy’s 1980 hit “Crazy Train,” later said:

“Listen, when it comes to politics, we know that no one comes out the winner. Whoever wants it, there are half the people will go that way. And now it is more than ever in history that the people’s choice of which party, which politician, cannot emerge as the winner.”

Referencing his 2010 appearance on Trump’s “Celebrity Apprentice,” he said Trump “was just a great guy to talk to” and “always treated me with respect.”

“Listen, I’m not an American. I can’t vote. I don’t want to vote. I don’t vote for anyone. I don’t vote for anyone,” he continued. “I never have, I never will. But the thing is, all I know is that he has treated me with respect, your father with respect.”

Trump “wanted nothing from us, nothing,” he said. First lady Melania Trump was “the same thing” and “they’ve been great and for him to take the time to do that for us… because you know what? He doesn’t live in a bubble. He knows what’s going on in the streets. He knows what’s going on.”
