Liam Payne’s girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, is shedding new light on her last moments together.

The late director singer was found dead in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in October, a few days after Cassidy and Payne spent time for the last time.

Cassidy revealed the details of his last conversations in a new interview about “On Purpose” by Jay Shetty, launched on Wednesday.

“I remember sitting there with him and continued and continued and told Liam how much I love him,” he shared about his time in Argentina with Payne. “He laughed and interrupted and he just said: ‘Kate, as, you will miss your flight. Your car is in the entrance path. You are acting like this is the last time you will see me again.'”

“I just laughed. I was like, ‘I know. I am being nonsense! I need to climb to the car, I cannot lose my flight,” he said, and added that even looking back in time and knowing that it was really the last time I could see him again is so chilling. ”

“But, in a way, I think that the way we say goodbye to each other, I am very blessed, and this is where I get that peace from her,” he said, explaining that “I would not have wanted it to be” different.

“I am so happy to have had that last beautiful moment together,” Cassidy added.
