Eric Trump absorbed Megyn Kelly’s presentation of him as perhaps “the most worthy” and “one of the nicest Trumps” before quickly (but jokingly) throwing his older brother, Donald Trump Jr., under the bus.

Kelly praised Eric before taking him on stage for “The Megyn Kelly Live,” taped Friday in front of an audience in Miami, Florida.

“So I’m the nicest Trump,” Eric boasted after joining Kelly, before adding that his half-sister Tiffany is “the nicest Trump, actually.”

“Well, the male Trumps,” Kelly clarified. “We don’t know Barron either.”

“Yeah. Well, Don’s a bit of an idiot, right?” Eric joked. “My father is pretty tough.”

About Barron, Eric joked that he’s “not old enough to be a jerk and get away with it,” adding, “If you’re a jerk at 18, you’re kind of pompous and kind of a jerk, right?”

Eric described his younger brother as “a little shy” but “very smart” and then recounted what Barron actually said to former President Joe Biden and former Vice President Kamala Harris during an exchange that has gone viral since President Donald Trump’s inauguration in 2025.

He said Barron told him he had simply wished Biden “the best of luck” or “something like that, something very respectful.”

Eric recalled later attending conservative Patrick Bet-David’s show, where the host repeated Internet rumors and asked, “Did Barron really tell Biden to be himself?”

Barron “just doesn’t have that in him,” Eric insisted. “He’s a good guy. He’s probably thinking about it. He definitely has it here. But he’s too polite to come out and say it.”

Kelly then used the moment to criticize “the media,” stating that it was “very typical” for journalists to “assume the worst about every Trump,” even though the clip went viral among social media users and it was Bet-David who posed the question to Eric.
