Bill Clinton responded to Trump
The public furor over unpublished files related to the late financier Jeffrey Epstein continues.

Earlier this week, new documents were released purportedly outlining facets of US President Donald Trump’s relationship with Epstein, including an indictment documenting, in CNN’s words, “Epstein’s claim that Trump ‘spent hours’ with a trafficking and rape victim inside his home.”

In response, the US Department of Justice confirmed that, at Trump’s request, it would investigate Epstein’s ties to former US President Bill Clinton, as well as banks JP Morgan and Chase, former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers and LinkedIn founder Reid Hoffman (who is a Democratic Party donor).

US Attorney General Pam Bondi also said the agency would conduct the investigation “with urgency and integrity.”

In response, former President Clinton’s spokesman, Ángel Ureña, issued a statement on X addressing the investigation itself.
