Bill Maher on Friday attempted to use White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt’s own logic against him after she defended President Donald Trump by saying, “Shut up, little pig!” to a journalist.

Trump hurled the insult earlier this month at a reporter who asked him about the release of files related to the late sex trafficker Jeffrey Epstein.

Leavitt later characterized the president as simply “very frank and honest,” suggesting that it is, in fact, “respectful” for Trump to be so “open” with the press.

Maher took aim at Leavitt on Friday’s episode of “Real Time” by taking his argument to the extreme.

“Trump is very touchy about the Epstein thing,” the comedian began, before recapping the “quiet, piggy” exchange that took place on Air Force One.

“And then, listen to this,” he continued. “At the press conference the next day, his press secretary, Karoline Leavitt, twisted this into saying that he’s really admirable. She said the fact that the president is frank and open and honest, that’s a good thing!”

And he concluded: “Well, in that case, shut up, bitch.”
