Linda Hamilton isn’t trying to turn back the clock.

At 69, the “Terminator” actress explained that she is not “pursuing beauty” as she ages in an interview with AARP that surfaced Wednesday.

“I never spend a moment trying to look younger on any level,” he explained. “I’ve completely surrendered to the fact that this is the face I’ve earned. And it tells me a lot. And sometimes it’s things I don’t want to hear.”

Hamilton, who returns to the screen in the new season of “Stranger Things” that premiered this week, added: “I don’t pursue beauty and I don’t particularly pursue longevity.”

For the star, being present and flexible are much more important ways to stay healthy than trying to make up for the past.

“I’m completely focused on the moment, but that doesn’t mean you don’t try to be healthy,” she said. “But not all the time; sometimes it’s just a jelly donut.”

“I’m not rigid, which is a great way to age,” Hamilton added. “I’ve always said that rigidity is what kills us: rigid thoughts and the kind of not moving.”

Emphasizing the importance of going with the flow, she told AARP, “I’ve tried very hard in my life to stay as fluid as possible.”

“One definition of happiness is being in the middle of a fast-flowing river and not trying to swim to the left or right,” he continued. “And that, truly, is what my life has been. It’s been a fantastic, fun journey.”
