Jane Fonda has said she is “shaken with grief” after the shocking deaths of Rob and Michele Reiner.

The “9 to 5” actor wrote this week about seeing the Reiners on Saturday night and said they were both “healthy and happy.”

On Sunday, the director and his wife were found dead in their Los Angeles home.

“Rob and Michele Reiner were wonderful, caring, smart, funny, generous people and always coming up with ideas on how to make the world better and kinder,” Fonda wrote on Instagram on Monday along with a photo of the two.

“They had been helping me launch the First Amendment Committee. I saw them the night before last looking healthy and happy.”

“I’m stunned by the pain. Stunned,” she added.

The couple’s son, Nick Reiner, 32, was arrested shortly after his parents were found stabbed in their home on Sunday. He was booked for murder, according to the Los Angeles Police Department, and is currently being held without bail.

On Saturday, the couple attended Conan O’Brien’s annual star-studded party, where TMZ alleged that Rob and Nick Reiner got into a heated argument.

“Nick was scaring everyone, acting crazy and kept asking people if they were famous,” a source told People magazine.
