“Kung Fu Panda” star Jack Black seems genuinely confused that he is Elle Fanning’s crush.

Fanning revealed earlier this year during a Vanity Fair interview that Black is the “most attractive man” she’s ever seen, describing the 56-year-old as pure “sex in the legs” and confirming that her own boyfriend once let her know that Black is Fanning’s so-called “hall passer.”

On Sunday, Black was promoting his upcoming “Anaconda” reboot with co-star Paul Rudd when the interviewer showed him Fanning’s full comments, which included her admission that she would happily star in the next “Minecraft” movie if it meant getting close to Black.

Black continued, “When you look at yourself you think, ‘Oh, I’m so ugly,’ but really you’re like this beautiful creature? I think she has the opposite of that, where she looks at me, who is objectively a goblin elf, and apparently sees this beautiful creature.”

Johns Hopkins Medicine classifies body dysmorphia as a mental health condition that leads people to obsessively focus on self-perceived flaws in their appearance. Black, always the comedian, made light of an often serious problem with some self-deprecating humor.

“He has this weird leprechaun dysmorphia,” he said while sitting next to a beaming Rudd.

Black continued, “Thanks, I appreciate the compliment, but I have to close my eyes because I can’t process what I’m hearing there. But thanks Elle and the boyfriend, man, we have no problems. We’re fine. I didn’t do it.” nothing deserve this attention.”

Fanning shared her feelings about Black while hooked up to a polygraph for a Vanity Fair interview in September. While these machines can be unreliable and have devastating consequences when used in high-risk environments, Fanning seemed sincere.

“The sexiest man I’ve ever seen in my life,” the 27-year-old said at the time. “Sex on your legs, baby.”

Black seemed a little embarrassed in his kind reaction on Sunday, but found support from a cheeky Rudd, who said: “I’ll say on behalf of Elle Fanning, I get it… I really do! I think I adore you, Jack. Just like America! Just like America!” the world. Elle did well.”

However, Fanning seemed unprepared when she ran into Black at a Golden Globes valet stand last year, when her boyfriend Gus Wenner told her about his crush, which she later revealed with a laugh during an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
