CNN Doctor Sounds Alarm About Trump’s Health During Speech
Late Vice President Dick Cheney’s cardiologist said Wednesday he was “seriously concerned” because President Donald Trump seemed “unwell” during his speech.
In a series of comments on X, Dr. Jonathan Reiner offered a bleak view of the president’s well-being as Trump bitterly defended his administration.
Reiner, now a CNN medical analyst, criticized the president’s “manic” tone and pace before focusing on Trump’s physical condition.
“I am seriously concerned about the president’s health,” the doctor wrote in X.
“No one should be happy to see the president like this,” he added. “It looks bad.”
The doctor, who treated Cheney’s serious heart condition when he was vice president and praised him after his death last month, did not go into details.

Previously, Reiner expressed suspicions about what the Trump White House called his “preemptive MRI.”
Trump faces skepticism about his routine boasts of good health. A New York Times report noted a significant drop in his activity level, prompting him to lash out at the newspaper. He even called the publication “seditious, perhaps even treasonous” for its coverage of his health.
As reported by the White House in July, Trump has had swollen ankles (or ankles) due to chronic venous insufficiency. He has also shown persistent bruising on his hands.
