Sarah Jessica Parker may not have known it, but when she said yes to play the main character in the “Sex and the City” franchise, he was accepting large branches, hypothetical voiceover and a life of questions about Carrie Bradshaw.

And he obtained more on Monday at “Today With Jenna & Friends” as presenter Jenna Hager and guest presenter Justin Sylvester asked if Parker ever guessed Bradshaw’s decisions, in the original series or her revival, “and so on.”

Your answer? A simple “No.” And it landed harder than Bradshaw’s stilett heel than paraded through New York City.

“It has been a kind of extraordinary experience,” Parker explained. “I try to describe it how to be contractually obliged to interpret someone else, be another person, for about 27 years, to behave illegally if I, like a person married to children, in which I would behave in the city or with men.”

He explained that his comfort with Carrie’s elections comes from deep confidence in the Michael Patrick King showrunner and the writing team. Even so, it admits some of the “controversial” Bradshaw decisions “give people pain.”

“It’s incredibly fun,” he added. “I really love.”

And so … she understood her.

“What is this where people don’t like Carrie?” He recalled that Parker asked him. “I mean, how could they don’t like Carrie?” Davis then told him not to worry about that.
