Jennifer Lopez marked her return to the stage this week with an expert response to her critics.

The pop diva kicked off her “Up All Night Live in Las Vegas” residency on Tuesday at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace, entertaining her fans with some jokes between performances of “Jenny From the Block” and “Love Don’t Cost a Thing.”

At one point, while wearing a bright green bustier and fringed skirt designed by Celia Kritharioti, she took aim at those who criticize her sexy style.

“I laugh at some of the things [people say online] sometimes, because they also say funny things,” Lopez said, as seen in footage from the show online. “Why does she always dress that way? Why don’t you dress according to your age? – I say: ‘Huh?’ ‘Why is she always naked?’”

After the crowd expressed their disapproval, she proclaimed, “And I say, ‘If you had this body, you’d be naked too!’

Elsewhere on the show, Lopez joked about her headline-making love life, specifically her four marriages, while reminiscing about her first Las Vegas residency, which ran from January 2016 to September 2018.

“That happened in the blink of an eye, right? For those of you who were there on opening night 10 years ago,” he said. “At that point, I had only been married twice.”

After clarifying that he was joking, he added, “The good news is that I’m learning and growing. We’re in our happy era right now.”

Lopez is scheduled to perform in Las Vegas through the end of March. In addition to her biggest hits, the show finds the actress and singer putting her spin on Broadway classics, including “Whatever Lola Wants” from the musical “Damn Yankees” and “Don’t Rain on My Parade,” made famous by Barbra Streisand in “Funny Girl.”
