News host Jesse Watters may have a hard time hiring Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.), who turned down an invitation Wednesday from one of his producers and then called Watters “a pervert” for making sexually suggestive comments about her on his show.

A “Jesse Watters Primetime” producer approached Ocasio-Cortez outside the US Capitol and, as captured by Migrant Insider editor Pablo Manríquez, asked if she would “join” the conservative pundit on his show at some point in the near future.

The New York Democrat wasn’t having it, claiming, “You’ve sexualized me on your show. You’ve sexually harassed me on your show. You’ve engaged in horrible, sexually exploitative rhetoric,” before the producer interrupted her to claim, “That’s not true, Congressman.”

“It’s true, it’s true,” Ocasio-Cortez responded. “That’s true, because he accused me of sleeping, of wanting to, quote, ‘sleep with Stephen Miller’. So why don’t you tell me what you think is acceptable to say to a woman? Thank you.”

The controversial exchange lasted less than 30 seconds, but went viral on social media.

“Those guys have normalized misogyny to the point where they don’t even recognize it anymore,” one

In fact, Watters baselessly claimed on his show last fall that the Democratic lawmaker wanted to have sex with Miller, the White House deputy chief of staff and architect of President Donald Trump’s hardline immigration policies and “MAGA” agenda.

“I think AOC wants to sleep with Miller,” Watters said at the time. “It’s so obvious.”

Then he added: “Sorry, you can’t have it.”

Watters has long used his News show to issue “rules” for “real” men, stating that they should never use a straw or accompany their wives to the grocery store.

Her comment about Ocasio-Cortez and Miller came after the Democrat criticized “insecure” MAGA men in an Instagram Live broadcast and urged her followers to “laugh” at them. She argued that their movement “is based on the bragging of insecure masculinity” and joked about Miller’s height.

The lawmaker later insisted that she wasn’t making fun of anyone for their height, but rather for “the way people overcompensate for their own stories.”

After learning that her exchange with Watters’ producer on Wednesday had gone viral, Ocasio-Cortez pulled no punches in addressing Watters directly, declaring on X: “You can be a pervert or ask me to be on your little show. Not both. Good luck!”

X users applauded the Democrat for holding Watters accountable.

God, I love this woman’s guts.

I’m glad AOC told that idiot Jesse Watters to go fuck himself. She owes him nothing, least of all the dignity of a prime-time interview. Watters’ misogyny routine has been central to his strategy for years. It reeks of that kind of twisted obsession that barely disguises itself as “commentary.” pic.twitter.com/6GtRfuDK7C
