In the wake of Leonardo DiCaprio going viral after he was filmed having an unusually animated conversation with an unknown attendee at the 2026 Golden Globes on Sunday night, one of his “Battle After Battle” co-stars revealed who he was talking to.

In images shared in the official Golden Globes. tiktok pageDiCaprio, 51, appeared to be chatting excitedly with someone across the table during the ceremony. The moment sparked curiosity among fans who wondered who he could have been talking to and what was being discussed.

In a new interview with Access HollywoodTeyana Taylor, 35, revealed that DiCaprio was talking to her in the clip, adding that they were probably talking about the Netflix animated film “KPop Demon Hunters.”

“The crazy thing about this is that I’ve been so swooning since that day, I mean we could have been talking about ‘KPop Demon Hunters,'” she told the outlet. “Because I was very happy when they won, because my children [Iman “Junie” Tayla Shumpert Jr. and Rue Rose Shumpert] I love ‘KPop Demon Hunters.’”

The musical film took home awards for Best Animated Feature and Best Original Song for the hit song “Golden.”

Taylor confessed that she didn’t know if she heard exactly what DiCaprio was saying. She He also told Access Hollywood that at the time he didn’t know that “the entire moment was being captured” on film.

Despite fans’ amazement at DiCaprio’s playful antics and happy vibes in the clip, Taylor said he had always shown his personality around her. In an interview with The New York Times Last September, Taylor said that she and DiCaprio had struck up a friendship years ago.

“Funny thing: Leo and I met at Diana Ross’s birthday party a few years ago and instantly became best friends,” she said. “That’s my partner, my accomplice!”

DiCaprio in return has praised Taylor.
